These unique bass drum beaters allow you to adjust the impact point of the beater on the bass drum head plus they act as a footboard height adjustment and they increase the power of Axis pedals without making them heavier. The first time I tried Sonic Hammers I didn't like them. But after a few days I got used to them and now I wouldn't think of going back to standard beaters.
